Each is cut from a slice of iron meteorite, its interlocking crystalline pattern formed over millions of years as the metal cooled in space, so no two dials are ever quite alike. Against it sit applied gold Roman numerals and the Daytona's three chronograph counters. The Daytona is Rolex's motorsport chronograph, its tachymeter bezel calibrated to read average speed, and in white gold with this celestial dial it becomes a rare, dressier reading of the icon.
