Why Collectors Love This

The Rolex 1680 Red Sub is the date-equipped version of the vintage Submariner, a reference collectors still study closely. Its stainless steel 40mm case and bracelet are paired with a black dial, with the red Submariner text giving this 1974 watch its nickname. An automatic movement drives the date display. At 13mm thick, it keeps the balanced proportions of the classic Submariner on the wrist.
