Rolex 6542 GMT Master 6542 "Bakelight" Bezel, this is the very first GMT model produced in the 1950s and has become a very important reference for any collection, stainless steel case is in very good condition and has likely been refinished in the past however some original bevels are still visible, stainless steel rivet bracelet dated 2/58 with 8- end links, automatic movement, date at 3 o'clock, second timezone via rotating 24-hour bezel and 24-hour hand, 24 hand is very rare and fully covered in radium, red and blue "Pepsi" bakelite bezel in outstanding condition for its age, it is free of any cracks and is very vibrant, this model was made originally for Pan-Am pilots, this dial variant is very early with darker more golden radium luminous material, the dial is still very glossy the watch reacts strongly to the geiger counter, luminous material on hands and dial appear to be consistent, crystal has crazing and may be original, 381XXX serial (circa 1958), diameter: 38mm, thickness: 14mm, Excellent Condition with European Watch Company Pouch and 6 Month Warranty.
