Vacheron Constantin 4240 Vintage Triple Date "Cornes De Vache", this watch was the historical basis for the current 1942 triple date from Vacheron Constantin, 18k rose gold case with beautiful Cornes De Vache (bull horn) lugs and gadrooning on the mid case, on a strap with a matching rose gold tang buckle, manual wind Vacheron Constantin caliber V 485, two-tone gilt dial gold applied hour markers and Arabic numerals is in fantastic condition and appears unaltered, gold baton hands with small seconds at 6 o'clock, date indicator around the outer chapter ring in red, day an month windows also with red font, diameter: 35mm, thickness: 10mm, Excellent condition with certificate from Vacheron dated April 2005. This watch was sold as part of an auction celebrating Vacheron Constantin's Quarter Millennium anniversary.
