More about Senator Sixties Square Chronograph SS Silver Dial
This is a stainless steel Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Square Chronograph 39-34-03-32-04. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has mushroom chronograph pushers and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws, and engraved with "GLASHUTTE ORIGINAL – SIXTIES CHRONOGRAPH – 3 BAR – ST. STEEL," and a serial number. The case back crystal is specially dome-shaped for viewing the edge of the rotor. The 42mm by 42mm cushion-shaped case, curved downturned lugs, and rounded square bezel, are polished. The dial is domed silver with applied gold baton indices, and Arabic numerals at the half-hours, around a perimeter minute/second chapter ring with luminous pips on the hours. It has gold baton hands with luminous inserts, and there is a gold center sweep second hand. There are twin recessed silver subsidiary dials with black markers, Arabic numerals, and gold indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, and a small running seconds indicator at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding. The 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Square Chronograph 39-34-03-32-04 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Glashutte Caliber 39-34 modular (Dubois-Depraz) chronograph movement. It's Glashutte ¾ rhodium plated and finished with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, some hand-engraved designs, and beveled component edges. It's constructed with 51 jewels, an anti-shock device, a swan-neck fine adjustment index regulator, and there is a skeletonized 21k gold rotor with Cotes de Geneve finishing and the double-G logo. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Square Chronograph 39-34-03-32-04 was introduced in 2017.
