This is a vintage c. 1945 stainless steel Universal Geneve Tri Compax, reference 22536. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. There is a solid snap-on case back engraved with the serial and reference numbers, as well as the Universal Geneve hallmarks inside the back. It has square chronograph pushbuttons, and the left side of the case has 3 correctors for the date and chronograph. The 36.5mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned straight lugs, and faceted angled bezel are polished/brushed. The original silver dial has an even patina, with feuille blue steel hands and a center sweep chronograph hand. There are black painted Roman numeral hour markers, with a minute/one-fifth second track around the perimeter. There are twin aperture windows for the day of the week at 10 o'clock, and the date at 2 o'clock. There are four round subsidiary dials, including a constant seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock, and a moon phase sub dial is at 12 o'clock with a radial date ring. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Universal Geneve Tri Compax, reference 22536, has a mechanical manual winding Universal Geneve caliber 287 movement that's gilt brass. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.
