Patek Philippe 3940 FIRST SERIES in white gold VERY RARE, this 3940 First Series was produced in 1987; it is rumored that there are only a couple 1st series 3940Gs ever made, 18k white gold case on a strap with an 18k white gold tang buckle, the white gold case is in excellent original condition with hallmarks clear and defined, automatic Patek Philippe caliber 240 Q movement, perpetual calendar, moonphase, leap year indicator, dial has the iconic sunken sub dials unlike dials of the later series, dial is free of flaws, glass crystal, size 36mm, thickness 8mm. Like New Condition with Patek Philippe box, stylus, service invoice from Patek Philippe in 2021, and Extract from the Patek Philippe archive showing an original date of sale in June of 1987. An extremely rare opportunity to own an important and early 3940G.
