Blancpain Milspec 1 Fifty Fathoms Circa 1963, one of the first military and recreational diving watches ever made in the late 1950s and an incredibly important piece of diving history, sand-blasted stainless steel case with original bevels still in tact, 3-piece case, automatic AS 1361 caliber, radium dial is in original condition and is extremely glossy for its age, luminous material has patinated to a nice creamy color, moisture indicator at 6 o clock has aged uniformly with the dial, outer minute track, "double Swiss" at 6 o'clock (one only visible when the watch is out of the case), gilt Blancpain Fifty Fathoms signature, Milspec 1 in white, original bakelite bezel is in outstanding original condition, acrylic crystal appears original as it shows signs of crazing, dust cover signed by Blancpain, caseback signed "Blancpain, Milspec, Automatic, Waterproof, Antimagnetic, Shock Protected", size: 41mm, thickness 13.2mm, SN 4704XX, Excellent Original Condition for a rare and early Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Milspec 1 "Double Swiss" reference and an important addition to any vintage watch collection.
