This Breguet reference 3757BA is the Classique Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar in yellow gold, and few tourbillons carry deeper provenance: the complication was invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet himself, patented in 1801, so a Breguet tourbillon is the mechanism worn at its very source. Here it is paired with a perpetual calendar that shows the date on a retrograde hand alongside a leap-year indication, the tourbillon opening the dial at six with the small seconds carried on its cage. The hand-wound movement is engraved by hand and displayed through the sapphire back. The 18k yellow gold case measures 39mm in height and width with a thickness of just 10.5mm, remarkably slim for two complications of this order. The silvered gold dial is hand-guilloché on a rose engine, finished with blued Breguet hands and the maison's numerals.
