The Asymétrique is among Cartier's most distinctive designs: the case is a parallelogram set diagonally on the wrist, with the dial tilted to match — a layout said to let a driver read the time with arms outstretched on the wheel, and unlike anything else in the Tank family. This platinum edition carries the signature ruby cabochon in its beaded crown and a silvered sunburst dial with numerals rotated to follow the case's diagonal axis. Driving it is the in-house hand-wound calibre 1917 MC. The platinum case measures 47.15mm in height and 26.1mm in width with a thickness of just 6.38mm, sitting elegantly on the wrist, its silver dial finished with black sword hands for crisp contrast.
