Description

IWC Reference 431 Oversized Pilot's Watch "B-Uhr", bead blasted stainless steel on an extra-long calfskin military strap. The reference 431 was produced in a limited run of 1000 pieces in 1940 and issued to the German Air Force for use as their official navigation watch, bold and correct caseback engraving, oversized onion-shaped crown (designed to be used by pilots wearing thick gloves), dial and hands are in excellent condition and have been restored during IWC service, traces of radium are still present on the dial, the watch is now a military watch that can be enjoyed without the fear of radium poisoning, diameter: 55mm, thickness: 17.5mm. Very Rare and in Excellent Condition with IWC service receipt and IWC Archive Certificate confirming the date of issue in September of 1940.
