Patek Philippe Calatrava 2526 Automatic "First Series", this 2526 is truly one of the finest well preserved 2526s we have had, yellow gold the case and bracelet both have evidently been sitting in the safe for a long time and the yellow gold case has tarnished to a very warm and charming rose color, the watch could be mistaken for rose gold, the 2526 is the first self-winding watch made by Patek Philippe with its iconic and over designed 12-600AT caliber, the yellow gold brick bracelet is long and watch length is 6.5-7 inches, the bracelet is stamped Patek Philippe 3 / 1954, the first series white porcelain-enamel dial which is in outstanding original condition, and free of any cracks or blemishes, the first series dials are noted by their sunken markers and "dimples" present around the 18K yellow gold applied markers, dauphine Calatrava gold hands, subsidary seconds dial, acrylic crystal appears to be original, case back is in excellent condition and does not appear to have been polished, hallmarks behind the lugs are bold and clear, Outstanding Collector Condition for an iconic and important Patek Philippe reference.
