This is a .950 platinum Breguet Marine Chronograph 5823PT/H2/5ZU. There is a composite black rubber strap with a .950 platinum double folding deployment clasp, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has curved rectangular chronograph push buttons, a screw down winding crown, and a fluted case band. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 7 screws, and it's engraved "BREGUET – HORLOGER – DE LA – MARINE – REF. 5823," hallmarks, a serial, and an edition number. The 42mm diameter solid three-body platinum case, downturned screwed lugs, and flat, angled stepped bezel, are polished. The dial is black guilloche with applied white gold radial Roman numeral hour markers around a luminous white 60-minute Arabic numeral scale with numbers every five minutes/seconds, and around the perimeter is a luminous white second scale with diamond-shaped hour markers. There is a trapezoidal date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position, and it has white gold Breguet hands, a center chronograph sweep seconds hand, and a diamond tipped hand that indicates the perimeter minute track. There are two white gold-rimmed recessed black subsidiary dials with luminous white Arabic numerals and markers, and white gold indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and there is a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock. The dates 1815-2015 signify the 200th anniversary of Breguet's role as chronometer maker to the French Royal Navy. It has a 48-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 14.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breguet Marine Chronograph 5823PT/H2/5ZU has a mechanical automatic self-winding Breguet caliber 583q/1 chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment, and it's constructed with 24 jewels, an anti-shock device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an engine-turned rotor. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Breguet Marine Chronograph 5823PT/H2/5ZU was introduced in 2015 in a limited edition of 200 examples to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Breguet's role as chronometer-maker to the French Royal Navy.
